Former militant says Pakistani military backs groups

ISLAMABAD - The Pakistani military continues to support a broad range of militant groups as part of a strategy with three decades of proxies against its neighbors and U.S. forces in Afghanistan, but now some of the fighters he trained questioning this strategy, a prominent former commander of the militant said.
