Will Community make it to Emmy Nominations?

Emmy voters are currently voting for shows and the artists who will be named July 14. There are several categories to watch, and the race for outstanding animated program is a category to watch.

The category has been in the past dominated by candidates from South Park and The Simpsons. The Simpsons has been named each year, except for two years in the early 90's when he was subjected in the comedy series. This year, he may face a similar shock after the submission of "community" in the category.

True, the Community could compete with The Simpsons, after the NBC series not very animated was nominated for an Emmy in the category Outstanding Animated Program.

The Christmas episode in clay has been widely welcomed and should stand out from most animated performances. Applications will be on July 14 and many of his fans hope and pray for the Community to sneak in.

It may not be that simple because the list also consists of American Dad, The Ricky Gervais Show, The Boondocks, The Cleveland Show, Robot Chicken, Burgers and Bob Archer. Luckily for Communi9ty, Family guy is not in the list as it chose to submit itself in the Outstanding Comedy Series, leaving a high hope of Community to go through. The return of Futurama though may be a big challenge to it.

Futurama has eared five nominations in this category including a win in 2002. Other series in the list include Neighbors from Hell, Ugly Americans, Young Justice, Ben 10: Ultimate Alien, Dan Vs., Scard Shrekless, The Looney Tunes Show among others. The list is made up of 27 shows; let’s hope Community will see its way through.
