I need big help with my TMJ!? | Anxiety Drugs
I had the ATM as I can remember, no pain with it every time I open my mouth to my jaw POP. Yesterday morning, I yawned and jumped out the left side and I could not get in. Usually, if I roll my jaw it the case. After about 5 hours of pain, I went to the doctor who gave me two shots in my hip muscle relaxant (do not know the name of the MEDS) and also gave me prescriptions for Neurontin and gabapentin . The doctor told me that because of the fire should come out my jaw about an hour later. Well, it is the next day, about 20 hours after the shots and taking a couple doses of the meds and my jaw will not go back in place. It still hurts and I am desperate to get it back in. I have tried pushing my jaw up, rolling it, opening it as wide as I can and nothing is working. What can I do to get it back in
your mistake was going to a physician, they have no understanding of the jaw or TMJ relationship unless they had formal training. An oral surgeon at the hospital would be able to shift it back into position. if you cant see a dentist on the weekend, try this. Your TMJ sounds like it dislocated. Pull your jaw Down and Forward and try to pop it up and over the bone, and then back into position.
