4. Rife Machine The Rife machine was developed in 1930 by a microbiologist named Dr. Royal Rife. This machine tries to kill cancer cells by administration of specific sound frequencies to the body. The machine that supposedly sends the sound waves deep into tissue and is so effective that all that is required is a three minutes every other day. While the promoters of this treatment super-(costing thousands of dollars) claim phenomenal success, their demands are lacking evidentiary support.
