Romney, Bachmann lead in 2012 Iowa caucus poll

...is there is no 'there there' amongst the GOP. Their constituency is all over the map. There is no focus, no coherent vision. A whack job like Bachmann is as relevent as a consistent, middle-of-the-road backpeddler like Romney. This just shows that the current crop of GOP candidates have no answers, have no strategy, and definitely have no plan for moving forward other than kowtowing to their dark lord of the Sith, Grover Norquist, who is an idiot. While I'm not as enamored as I was of Obama a couple years ago, I will take him in a heartbeat ahead of any of these dickheads. We in CA just dodged a bullet when we put Jerry Brown back in the Guv's office over corporatist Meg Whitman. And I thank GOD for that, because had we not, we would be looking at the same anti-family, anti-labor policies that people in Wisconsin, Michigan, Ohio, and Florida are facing now.

The strategy of the MSM is working like a charm so far: First, promote the big government country-clubber. Don't launch attacks on his or his family's personal lives until after he gets the nomination. Second, promote as "the alternative" a woman who, from what little I know, sounds like the media's false cartoon of Sarah Palin (don't you wonder what happened to those media exposes of Palin's 24,196 personal emails? If you're a liberal, you probably don't.)

The aim of the MSM -- in whose pecuniary interest is bigger and bigger government, the public be damned -- is, as in 2008, to give Jeffersonian small-government advocates no choice: Make it a big government Republican vs. a big government Democrat. That's what the MSM calls "a win-win".

BACHMANN ON ‘THE LION KING’ AS GAY PROPAGANDA: At the November 2004 EdWatch National Education Conference, Bachmann said the “normalization” of homosexuality would lead to “desensitization”: “Very effective way to do this with a bunch of second graders, is take a picture of ‘The Lion King’ for instance, and a teacher might say, ‘Do you know that the music for this movie was written by a gay man?’ The message is: I’m better at what I do, because I’m gay.”

BACHMANN ON THE MINIMUM WAGE: While testifying in front of the Minnesota Senate in 2005, Bachmann said, “Literally, if we took away the minimum wage — if conceivably it was gone — we could potentially virtually wipe out unemployment completely because we would be able to offer jobs at whatever level.”

BACHMANN ON SCIENTISTS OF INTELLIGENT DESIGN: During a 2006 debate, Bachmann said, “There are hundreds and hundreds of scientists, many of them holding Nobel Prizes, who believe in intelligent design.” This was, and is, not true.

Indoor LBS: Indoor Maps on Windows Phone 7.5 Mango

Indoor maps appear in the Windows Phone Mango Maps application. A few places are actually listed as having indoor maps (such as FAO Schwartz), but when tapping them indoor maps would not appear in Bing Maps. Times Square however, did work. This location isn’t really an indoor location, but it's the first step in the direction towards an indoor LBS user experience. The indoor maps show all of the stores and how they are laid out right there in Times Square. There’s a little button in the upper left corner that lets you switch between levels if you’re looking at a multi-story indoor location, and there’s also a “Directory” button that shows you all of the stores in the specific location.
